An Unboxing

So, it's a late post, but on the 29th of last month, I got to unbox my Guild Wars 2 Collectors Edition. <3 I'll post pictures of my new stuff, along with some other spoils from the journey! This is my game of the year, so I'm really excited to be able to play the full version and not worrying about having my character deleted through the beta. Also, if you guys haven't already, check out my Guild Wars blog Project Tyria. It compares locations from both Guild Wars games to each other as well as pre and post searing Ascalon. It's even garnered the attention of Arenanet themselves. I guess that's my way of saying that I think it's worth checking out. X3

Okay, so I went into Gamestop the other day to find a copy of Persona 3 Portable, since I hadn't been able to complete it yet. While walking through the store, I spot the Guild Wars 2 display. On it, there are the large display game boxes. I wasn't able to make it to the Guild Wars 2 midnight release at one of their other stores, where they said they'd be giving these out at. Because this store didn't have a midnight release party for it, they still had the display set up. The guy at the counter says he can save one for me when they change out displays by putting a sticker on the back. He comes back with the box, throws away the sticker, and says I can have it then and there. Such an exciting night! While I can't say I care too much for Gamestop, its employees like this that make me want to come back. So thank you again very awesome Gamestop employee guy!!!! <3
